How to use this

1. 1The market's XI is frozen before the deadline from expected points, so it is a real forecast, not a hindsight pick. After the gameweek it is scored on actual points next to the most-owned eleven.
2. 2The dream team is pure hindsight: the best legal eleven by points once the matches are played. Comparing the two shows how much of the week was predictable from the odds.
3. 3Use the gameweek picker to walk back through the season. Weeks before the site started publishing show the dream team only.

Where the numbers come from

A legal eleven is one keeper, at least three defenders, two midfielders and one forward, eleven players in all, the same rules the game applies. The template is the most-owned player in each slot.

Every gameweek's market XI is scored on the track record page; a week counts as clean when the market XI reaches 90% of the template's points.
